Behavior Problems
Children, teens, and young adults can struggle with behavior difficulties that don’t have a diagnosis of a behavior disorder, but that do need intervention. Through her life skills coaching, executive functioning training, and when need be, her own Distinctive Discipline Program, Ruth specializes in many types of behavior problems.
Ruth also works with many who have tried help elsewhere, but it wasn’t effective, or not effective enough.

Feelings and behaviors come from thought. A thought is simply some thing we tell ourselves, and we believe it. Once we learn how to be aware of our thoughts, we can assess as to whether they’re healthy and helpful or not, and then we’re able to challenge and change these when need be. Changed thinking results in changed and healthier behaviors and feelings, the goal being to always strive to be our best selves, every day!
